![]() ![]() Ive owned a few 1095 knives which is the steel this blade is made of and as long as its heat treated and tempered properly should hold a decent edge, thats to be determined currently but i have no doubts that it is done properly and won't be an issue. The knife came fairly dull which for some may be an issue but as i always resharpen my knives to a razor edge so even though thats a negative point as all knives should come sharpened with a useable edge, its something i can overlook. The fit and finish isnt perfect as the scales are not fit 100% to the tang and are a bit oversized on the edge of the handle but the lay flush on the tang, the knife feels good in the hand despite the fact that thickness wise it feels more like a folder than a fixed blade. Back to the knife though.size wise its perfect, not to big,not to small, but a perfect size for edc. The sheath seems reasonable but is fairly bulky and will more than likely be replaced with a kydex sheath, which in my oppinion should have been included with the knife at the price point its sold at. I purchased this to have a smaller fixed blade for a edc which it fits the bill for that requirement, knife wise anyway.
